Hi there! Here is a bit about me:
I am originally from Dallas, Texas and moved to Utah to get my bachelor's degree in finance at Brigham Young University. While there, I began to feel called to be a therapist, so I completed my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Since then, it has been a huge honor to sit with people their suffering. At the end of my master's program, I felt there was so much more to learn, so I moved back to Texas to complete my Ph.D. in Couple, Marriage, and Family Therapy at Texas Tech University. I am now a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been practicing therapy for over a decade. I've worked with individuals, couples, and families, but I enjoy individual therapy the most. In addition to seeing therapy clients, I develop mental health educational programs as an Extension Assistant Professor at Utah State University.
Here is more information about my background. My research, teaching, curriculum development, and clinical experience has helped deepen my understanding of mental health conceptualization and treatment.
